Thank you for your interest in the Volunteer Program. Our staff and volunteers work together, forming a vital team that is essential to our ongoing success. The reason you are interested in volunteering may be unique to you, and yet that special feeling you have for people, horses, and giving of yourself is a common bond with everyone involved in our program. Our volunteer needs are many. Whether your experience with horses is lifelong or non-existent, your willingness to give of yourself and your time is what we need. Volunteer opportunities are briefly outlined below to help you determine the areas in which you will feel most comfortable, and that will be the most rewarding for you. All programs fulfill high school, community service and college requirements.
Time is a precious commodity to us all, and the time you give is greatly appreciated.

More volunteers are needed as our program continues to grow. We are currently seeking volunteers for Friday's 9am to 10:00am and Tuesday 9am to 10am.
LESSON PROGRAM- volunteers assist by leading or side walking horses during lessons. They groom and saddle horses before a ride, and turn them out afterwards. Program Volunteers should be willing to commit to a specified, consistent period of time each week and must attend A Volunteer Orientation & Training Session which are offered throughout the year.
EQUINE PROGRAM- volunteers help maintain the horses and the barn. They keep the barn isles clear and swept, groom horses, clean tack and are eligible to become Barn Buddies and provide TLC to a special horse. They work directly with the Barn Staff to establish a consistent schedule.
